Bumping up this thread - I purchased the last bottle of Royal Club Bitter Lemon at the Top Foods near my place on the week-end, and it was amazing for a summery cocktail. Is there anywhere else this can be found? I'm not tied to the brand, if there are other options.

Nutty Chocolatiere (sp?) in the beach has it...buy it every week. It's right at Lee and Queen. You can get some good Marmite rice crisps too:)

There is a PC brand soda called 'Splendido Lemon Frizzante' that has that bitter quinine / lemon taste as well:

You can also find it at Mak European Delicatessens (and perhaps at other Eastern European marts). It's at 1335 Lawrence E in between the DVP and Vic Park. I think theirs comes from Serbia; I'm a big fan of it as well. They also cook up cevapi and burek in the back.

C Market European Deli across from Folia Grill also carries it. And Sedo Snax on John St. in Thornhill has the Schweppes South African Dry Lemon with quinine, I believe.

A shop called Bullet on the Danforth has it. A big bottle is featured in its front window. Web site does not mention it.

I'm a big fan - it was a Christmas only treat when I was a kid.

Thanks for the info. I used to love it as a kid and even then it was hard to find.
