NOT expensive, inviting and comfortable to eat before 3pm SummerStage concert. Deli, Greek, Mediterranean, Brunch? Prefer lighter fare since we'll be siting in the sun after. Thanks in advance.

I went to a Summer Stage concert last week and dined at Alice's Tea Cup beforehand. Love that place. I actually ate at one on the UES (64th/Lex) but there is one on the UWS at 73rd and Columbus, too. It's a very girly, pink, sparkly vibe but the food has been great every time I've been there, and the scones are incredible-take a few with you to nosh on at or after the concert!

Cassis - Good French fare and popular for weekend brunch. Wonderful frisee and lardon salad and very good onion soup gratinee.
