Can I get a private room for Dim Sum on a Sunday in Chinatown?

I'm trying to organize a party for about 40 people on Sunday where we could have dim sum in a private room (or a divided room). We need to stay in Chinatown because the group will all be downtown.

Any suggestions? I was going to try CBS because they usually are less crowded than Empress & Ocean.

Dim Sum on Sunday is crowded at CBS on Sunday.

Check with Golden Dragon. They can section off a part of the dining room for your group. It's one of the larger restaurants in Chinatown.

Ocean Seafood can do it ( they have a second dining room they might be able to open for you) but do call ahead.

Yes, Empress will definitely do it for you. Even if they don't give you a private room, they can easily partition off part of the dining room for your party. Call ahead.

I don't think they'll partition a part of the dining room for them. My friend had a funeral luncheon there on a weekday with 15 tables and they wouldn't partition an area for them.
