Need recommendation - Theater district
My husband and I will be in NYC on Saturday night for a show. We are both on the South Beach Diet and need a place that has a varied fish menu. Does anyone have any favorites. We would like to be near the Theater district but would walk to other areas.

Aurole is a top pick in the theater district. Definitely have great fish dishes. Excellent food & service--fine dining atmosphere.

I'll second Oceana (with the caveat that I haven't been recently) as well as Esca and Estatoria Milos. Also worth looking at are Marea.
Also, for some exquisite sushi / sashimi, you could do Sushi of Gari 46 - and a at a (slightly) lower price point, there's Blue Ribbon Sushi.
And of course, there's that Masa place...

Some of the best (& therefore most expensive) Greek food in the city is a couple of blocks east of the theater district: Estiatorio Milos and Anthos are both in the 50s around 6th Ave, and both have extensive seafood options. Molyvos is in the same area, but unless I'm mistaken, I don't believe they're as fish-centric.

Haven't been to Milos, but we were at Molyvos recently. They've got a quite sizable fish on ice display in the bar room. We opted for a few small plates, one of which was an excellent sea scallops and Scottish salmon duo.

I highly recommend Oceana, on the corner of 6th Av. & 49th St. (street level of the McGraw Hill Bldg.) . Superb fish and seafood, excellent service, comfortable and attractive setting.
