HELP! Save me from awful delivery at Dufferin & Lawrence!

I've asked before- but haven't had much luck...

Thought I'd try once more, after yet again struggling to find something decent to eat with out going out! I'm on Lawrence- near the Allen and Dufferin.

There must be SOME decent take out...so far all I've managed to find that is consistent is a sushi place on Eg that delivers to me...

I'd really like to find a good thai place, chinese place, pizza joint (not Camarra's too greasy and pricy lately), any other good delivery! We eat just about any type of food- so all recommendations are welcome!

Save me from terrible delivery please and thank you!

They don't do delivery, but they're worth picking up - Randy's. In my opinion they are the best patty's in the city as well as very good jerk.

I know it sounds like a strange place, but if you want to try some great patty''s, go to Warden Station, I swear everyone I know claims those are the best, and they have been around for ages.

Thanks for the tip on the patties. I'll have to check it out.

You definetely should. They have Spicy and regular, possibly vegetarian but im not sure. I love the Spicy, but the thing that sucks the most is you have to pay bus fare to get to the damn store, and now im driving so I never go there!

Tasty Chinese (you will either love it or hate it - we love their General Tao's chicken and Moo Shu Pork) Skip their soup.
Thai Plate or Friendly Thai, both are good, we prefer Friendly thai for delivery.
Sea Hi for chicken balls and chow mein if that's to your taste

I second the Thai Plate suggestion.

If you are in Sushi One's delivery radius, we have found them to be prompt and of higher quality than the sushi places we can walk to on Avenue Rd. Sushi One is up at Sheppard & Yonge, but they deliver to us around Bathurst/Lawrence.

Thank you very much!! The sushi place we use is Tokyo Sushi on Eglinton/Bathurst...we are outside of their area but they agreed to deliver to us- the fish is always fresh, and they are pretty quick. I'll have to check out the other suggestions.... any other thoughts?

sado is much better than all of those but is a step up in price. I would call it mid-range and their chef specialty menu is where all the creative good stuff is to be found. Dine in is the best experience but they have free delivery too, but you don't get the great presentation.
