Can someone recommend a good Greek restaurant on the Danforth?

Planning to go with my mother, father, married sisters etc. Around 10 people altogether.

  1. I don't find any of them especially stellar

For souvlaki, dips, etc., Mezes is the place I usually go to

For fish, we usually end up at The Palace on Pape Ave

456 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4K1P4, CA

    1. I have found Pantheon and Avli to be o.k. Ask for fresh fish grilled, and fresh green vegetables.

Bonus points to Pantheon for being on the right side of Danforth. i.e., it gets the late day sun on the patio. Your party of 10 may wish to sit indoors. If you grab seating in the window of the northwest section you can still get a good deal of sun and an open window.

      2. I also like Pantheon for their whole grilled fish.

        1. Most restaurants on the Danforth are decent but not outstanding and I find most of them pretty interchangeable. Still, I love getting out there a few times each year. You know what you're getting, and if you're in the mood it's fun and tasty. We had a good lunch at Astoria not too long ago. And I agree that Pantheon is a solid choice.
