Near Four Seasons?

jamiski Jun 18, 2010 07:37 PM

Never been to Atlanta and have a long wedding weekend coming in September. What sort of close breakfast and dinner options do we have? I think we have dinner figured out, but we aren't sure if the hotel is in a neighborhood where we can walk to other restaurants. Or if there are any worth walking to. We were thinking about BLT Steak for a lunch and that's about all we have for ideas at this point.

The address above is some kind of corporate office I guess because your hotel (as I'm sure you know) is on 14th in midtown.
You are very close to Table 1280 at the High Museum and you can walk. It's a good walking area.
Other close walking options: South City Kitchen, Oceanaire Seafood Room, Ecco, Veni Vidi Vici, Nan..check out the Crescent Ave spots.

For breakfast, there is an Einstein Bros. bagels right next door to the hotel and a Starbuck's.

I work in the office tower above the 4 Seasons. The address is 75 14th Street. It is a great location for restaurants. I agree with all the suggestions above.

A few more - The hotel's restaurant, Park 75, is very good for breakfast. For more casual dining, Tin Lizzy's Cantina is just around the corner on Cresent street. I also enjoy Shout in Colony Square just a block from the hotel.

All of the places listed so far are great (South City Kitchen is a personal favorite and at Table 1280 there is a great small more inexpensive tapas menu in the bar area). If you have transportation, take 14th street over the highway and follow it until it dead ends into Northside. if you turn left there is a great breakfast place called West Egg and if you turn right there are a bunch of great places right there including a Taqueria (Taqueria del Sol) and casual Italian (Figo). If you don't have transportation though, tons of great places you can walk to.

I didn't link that address; I have no idea where it came from.
South City Kitchen looks wonderful. We're from Iowa so southern food is definitely on the list. Veni Vidi Vici also looks delicious. We'll be cab-reliant, but don't really mind venturing out.
