Wilkinson Ginger Ale in the United States?

lipoff Jun 18, 2010 02:31 AM

Despite the very British sounding name, Wilkinson is a brand of Ginger Ale and Tonic Water commonly found in Japan, in very distinctive wavy bottles:

And it's terrific! As light as a ginger ale, but with the spiciness of a ginger beer.

Has anyone seen it for sale in the United States, perhaps from a Japanese importer or Japanese market?

I am no help but wanted to chime in. I'm in Tokyo right now thoroughly enjoying my first with "Extra Ginger". Strong, light, tasty! I have never seen a Ginger Ale so dark. Would make a great Dark and Stormy. I am now on a quest.
