Slow Food Edmonton's Indulgence '10
Did anyone else go to Indulgence this week. It ended up being another epic adventure in eating, with roughly 20 dishes to sample. I really enjoyed the bacon dish from Lux, salad from Skinny Legs & Cowgirls, and the sandwich from The Manor. There were a few notable misses, but that's to be expected. After all, everyone has a different palate.

Yeah, it was a great evening!
I think my favorite was the wild boar tourtiere -- too bad it was the Shaw Conference Center that produced that (who goes there for dinner?). I also really liked the pork chilli (Tzin) and the brisket biscuit (Culina, I think).
Nice pictures on your blog, by the way!

re: cwant
P.S. On the topic of the Shaw, and your "who goes there for dinner?" thought, I recently spent some time in the kitchen and it was an amazing experience. There is a lot of talent in that room.
