Denver eating after 1st fri art walk?
Hi- Visiting from Phila. We will be doing the first Friday art walk ( the first fri in sept) and looking for a restaurant to eat at afterward in that area. Casual is fine as long as the food is good. We plan to eat at Rioja and Mizuna on other nights. Thanks!

Lots of neighborhoods host art walks on First Friday. Which in particular do you mean (Santa Fe, Cherry Creek, Highlands, Golden Triangle, etc.)?

I'd suggest one of four things. If you're going casual, stay on Santa Fe and go to Interstate Kitchen & Bar (contemporary American) or Arada (Ethiopian). Both solidly good. (Or if you want to go so casual it's counter service & no booze, go to El Taco de Mexico. Among the best in town.)
Otherwise, take a few-block walk to the northwest or the southeast and go to Domo or Beatrice & Woodsley. Both are two of the most unusual spots in town, both in terms of decor (stunning) and food: one is country Japanese, the other very quirky contemporary small plates.
