Churros To-Go

  • 4

Anyone know where I can buy churros "to-go" for a party?

I bought a box once in San Francisco that you could bake in the oven, then roll in the cinnamon/sugar topping. Where can I find this in Boston??

Thanks in advance!

  1. I googled:

    * These guys have it: http://www.laverdadtaqueria.com/ You could probably order it to-go.
    * BJs has the frozen kind
    * CostCo churros
    * Pollo Loco, the chain, sells churros. (There's a location in Chelsea)

      The Chelsea Pollo Loco didn't make it.

      For fresh there are Brazilian bakeries in the area which make them the harder question is where you can buy the regularly as opposed to a common thing. At least one of the bakeries in Framingham (here I think they make them more regularly and sell on weekends), I think Cake and CIA will make them (had them once there) and possibly another in Everett (Bread and & Co?? or maybe it was House of Bread on Rt 60 in Medford). Sweet Brazil which offered them in Somerville has closed (in case someone references old threads).

        I wonder if Churros would even taste good if eaten more than 10 minutes after frying...
