I liked the food a lot more when the place was still connected with the Washington Square Tavern. That partnership dissolved, and BST's food has since gone in more of a downmarket casual-dining direction, a shame. Tough to beat that patio, however, which was presumably part of the calculus of that business decision.

I thought the food was pretty good overall. Love the sweet potato tater tots there. The baked kabocha squash is also very nice.
