Any restaurant recommendations for the area around the Metro? Open to any kinds of cuisine. Thanks.

  1. Masala Art! Great Indian food and steps from the Metro station.

Just tried this on Tues and OMG it's good! I had the chickpea chaat appetizer, the lamb chops (great value) and a side of the 5 lentil dal. Very impressed by the subtle and complex spicing and fresh ingredients. Much better than what we have in Boston and comparable to what i've had in London.

Pete's a Pizza just opened this week.

      1. There is nothing better than the on the rocks margarita's at Guapo's. Pair with their carne asada fajitas on the porch and you've got my favorite way to spend a summer evening. BTW if you want extra delicious spice, ask for some "junior sauce" it's green and spicy and fantastic.

        1. Murasaki for sushi. They have a nice little patio on the side.

          1. Masala Art is the best around there. There is Steak and Egg if you like filthy diners. The peruvian chicken place is decent too.

Steak and Egg Kitchen is my favorite filthy diner. It's right up there with BeenieWeenie.

            2. Masala Art is, as others have said, really good. I just tried Pete's Apizza and the pasta was truly outstanding. The pizza was very good but not reaching greatness yet. I prefer Yosaku for Japanese. Plenty of well-prepared sushi but many other choices, too.
