Will be in the Westside area, looking for a decent place to hang out with the gf to watch game 7.
Not interested in big bars like the Yard House or ESPN zone. More towards local, or casual restaurant types.
Gansters-no
Yuppies-sure
College-some
Professional-sure
diehard fans-hell yea!
Good food would be appreciated along with cheap alcohol.
Go Lakers!

  1. SF Saloon has good burgers and a friendly crowd for Lakers games. Just west of the 405 Fwy on Pico Blvd.

ADD: Another place that would be a good venue for this is "Bar Food" http://www.bar-food.us/ on Wilshire Blvd. just west of Bundy a block and a half. More Yuppified than SF Saloon and good bar type food and drinks.

    San Francisco Saloon Co

    Bar Food
12217 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90025

    1. Busby's on SM Blvd a@ Berkeley. Promises to be packed (but I think that's the case everywhere). My living room and 55 incher suits me fine.

(Just for laughs, you could try McLean's on Wilshire. Formerly McGinty's, it's now a Boston-centric bar. Myself and some other SM local die-hards have rooted for the Lakers in there in the past.)

Yuppie / hipster factor for both - high.

I was also going to suggest both SF Saloon (really good burgers) and Sonny McLean's, lots of tvs.

      2. Thompkins Square has great hamburgers, good food in general and lots of TV's. In Westchester corner of Lincoln and Manchester.

Tavern in Brentwood installed 2 flat screen TV's in the bar. Great call by Suzanne and Carolyn. The bar was packed. Folks cheering for the Lakers and everyone appeared to be enjoying their food and libations. It was a great night and sealed Tavern's Identity as Brentwood's signature neighborhood restaurant. There were folks in the main dining room; albeit, not many. Tonight, all of the action was in the bar where we could order off of the dinner menu, bar menu or a combination.
