Tips for Dining, Eating, and Food Shopping in France (including Paris, Nice, Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Marseilles)

Looking For Special Paris Restaurant For Birthday Dinner

We will be in Paris for a long weekend in July celebrating a 70th birthday. Assuming I can get a reservation, I've narrowed the choices down to either Chez Josephine or Apicius. Can anyone share some guidance?

  1. Apicius is way fancier and way more expensive. Other than that, the foods are surprisingly similar. But the mansion and the park at Apicius are quite attractive and sure qualify as special.

      Thanks! Just found out that Apicius is closed on weekends so I'll try to get a res at Chez Josephine.
