Finally made it to The Cove in San Antonio

which was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Tried the DDD featured Lamb Burger w/sweet potato fries and addt'ly, a bowl of pablano-chx soup.. Thought the items were good not great.. Actually, I've tried a total of 3 triple D restaurants (Red Lion Pub in Houston for their curry chx/rice bowl-I think it was Maria's taco's in Austin and now The Cove in SA). It may be three strikes and your out as I was mildly disappointed with my visits to each restaurant featured on the show. I'm glad I've tried all three but would noit return for repeat visits. Love the show but I'll temper the excitment and hype moving forward.

I've been to a number of the Diner's, Drive-in and Dives places and have had great luck with a few and not so good at a couple. The Cove had OK food, however because it is outside or open to the outside I was bothered by the number of flies trying for a taste of my food. I might go back, however my wife wouldn't join me again in this lifetime.
