Birthday weekend in Ipswich -- dining advice needed!
I'm having a birthday party in Ipswich over the 4th of July weekend and need restaurant advice! We're going to go to the new and great-looking/seeming Market Table in Gloucester one night but can't figure out where to go for the other two. One is going to be a lobster/fried seafood extravaganza at Woodman's or Farnham's (which is better?) Where should we go for the third night? I'm looking for someplace that is not too stodgy but definitely nice, ideally with a local-produce/fish kind of chez panisse-esque vibe...kind of like Market Table I guess!
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

St. Virgilio's bakery and deli on Main street in Gloucester has the best chicken salad sandwich I have ever had. I also highly regard Jalapeno's on Main street for authentic Mexican cuisine. If you are seeking a fun spot with good food and music, Capt Carlos is on the water with outdoor dining. Yum!

Skip Woodman's and Farnham's and go to Clam Box in Ipswich. Franklin Cafe in Gloucester would be nice for your third night, you'll need reservations. If you need a breakfast/lunch spot try Sugar Magnolia's, also in Gloucester.

Choate Bridge pub has a fantastic lobster roll. Atmosphere is an array of local characters. Stone soup is good but the waitresses are the rudest I have ever encountered.
