Salted caramel ice cream

Does anyone know where to get salted caramel ice cream (as a standalone item) in Brooklyn? I'm looking specifically for it available at an ice cream shop or as a pint at a supermarket but not as a dessert option as a restaurant.

Thanks very much.

I have seen fleur de sel caramel candy sold at Trader Joe. Could work as a topping.

My local gourmet store in DUMBO, Forrager's Market, sells a killer brand of premium ice cream called Jeni's which is hand-crafter artisanal ice cream made in Ohio. They have a phenomenal Salted Caramel. I think that Brooklyn Fare on Schermerhorn also carries Jeni's...

I've always thought this ice cream would make an insane ice cream sandwich using those "butter waffle" cookies that come in the blue and white box--Destrooper is the brand, maybe? They're in all the greengrocer markets and most supermarkets around the city.

Alternatively, you could get a pint of Haagen-Dazs dulce de leche and fold in some kosher or Maldon salt. That way you can salt to taste!

There's an ice cream cart outside of the General Greene that generally has salted caramel ice cream that they roll pretzels into. It's good stuff. I'm sure they could leave out the pretzels if you asked. I'm not sure whether they sell by the pint.

Haagen Dazs has a fantastic salted caramel flavor--I think it's called fleur de sel caramel. I have not seen it lately, so I hope it hasn't been discontinued. You could ask at a grocery story.
