Noodle Bar and Grill In Chinatown?

  • 3

Anybody try it? 631 Broadway, I think it's the third Thai restaurant at that location in the past year. (For you old timers this was the one time home of Sweet Fragrance Cafe.)

  1. I don't think it's really a new restaurant, just a change in focus for Ratcha Thai, which wasn't doing as well as its predecessor. At least there's been no change in the liquor licensee of record. They had noodles before, and still have other dishes, but now the tail is wagging the dog.

But they'll have to learn to spell noodle.

    1. off the subject historical foodnote:

this is where nelson lee started making his may lin hunan chile sauce, black bean sauce, etc decades ago.

        Victor,
I hope you come back to this post to read this, as I wanted to tell you thanks for all your right-on advise about Nelson Lee and his May Linn BBHS. I tracked down Marathon Packing who only deals in Pallet Sale minimums, but he set me up with The Good Stuff Distributors and I just placed an order for my first case. This has been a labor of love looking for this sauce and without your knowledge of the discontinuing and selling sauce recipes to Marathon I would be SOL my friend. Thanks again for your expertise and time.
