Kid friendly restaurant with good food and adult drinks in San Francisco

Hi!

We'll be meeting friends in SF on Friday July 2nd for dinner and drinks-6 adults 4 children.

Everyone is pretty adventuresome. My 5 year old loves confit, charcuterie, lamb, duck, broccoli, ceviche etc and my two year old daughter eats anything!

Any thoughts about good options with great food?

Thanks!

I like the drinks at Pacific Catch on 9th at Lincoln. It's definitely a kid friendly place. The food is great. You can usually find parking in Golden Gate Park across Lincoln.

I was looking for a solution myself. My review of the result on chowhound:

Beretta takes resevations for 6 or more. With a fine cocktail program and a pizza-centric menu it works well with kids and adults, particularly of you are booking early in the evening.

This isn't really to answer your question, because the food isn't top-notch, but Park Chalet is a great place to take kids, especially if it's nice out. You can eat outside, and the kids can roam and run around in G.G.P. We sometimes let our kids play outside after they've finished dinner while we're inside as well. The kids menu is basic but cheap, and they do certain specials some nights, like Taco Tuesday, that also keeps costs down. We stay away from the Beach Chalet upstairs though.
