Going to San Jose Rep Theatre and need recommendations for dinner?

We are pretty open as long as it is not a chain restaurant. Price no object. We love anything. I was hoping for a view but that is not a deal breaker

  1. I can't think of any view restaurants in downtown San Jose. Mezcal is our current favorite in the area for fine Mexican / Oaxacan food in a fun atmosphere. The Thai food at House of Siam has been reliably good though it's been a while since we've gone. Agenda sounds promising with a new southern menu by Chef Gator, formerly of Dolly Marie's and Gator's up in San Mateo.

    1. We've gone to Fahrenheit a few times before a week night show at the Rep. Interesting menu and good service. No view but the interior is cool looking.

      1. Scotts Seafood isn't "really" a chain and has a beautiful view.

Another option would be Capers Loft. Ask to sit on the patio and you can check out the SJ skyline.

        1. Go to the Loft and sit upstairs!

          1. Another suggestion for The Loft, upstairs. They also have a nice outdoor patio that is great in the summertime.
