Going to San Jose Rep Theatre and need recommendations for dinner?

We are pretty open as long as it is not a chain restaurant. Price no object. We love anything. I was hoping for a view but that is not a deal breaker

Another suggestion for The Loft, upstairs. They also have a nice outdoor patio that is great in the summertime.

Go to the Loft and sit upstairs!

Scotts Seafood isn't "really" a chain and has a beautiful view.

Another option would be Capers Loft. Ask to sit on the patio and you can check out the SJ skyline.

We've gone to Fahrenheit a few times before a week night show at the Rep. Interesting menu and good service. No view but the interior is cool looking.

I can't think of any view restaurants in downtown San Jose. Mezcal is our current favorite in the area for fine Mexican / Oaxacan food in a fun atmosphere. The Thai food at House of Siam has been reliably good though it's been a while since we've gone. Agenda sounds promising with a new southern menu by Chef Gator, formerly of Dolly Marie's and Gator's up in San Mateo.
