Funky Spot for Sunday Night? Veg. friendly?

I have a good friend coming into town sunday evening around 9pm and I am trying to get some ideas for a place to eat between LAX and WeHo. Something unique and fun, vegetarian friendly a plus.

Have you been to any of the Ethiopian restaurants along Fairfax? Rahel is one that gets good reviews on the LA board.

Culver City has some likely candidates for you as well. Tender Greens would be one good choice, and while I haven't been to Green Peas on Sepulveda it's another place that you could consider.

Upon further review (g) it looks like Green Peas is only breakfast and lunch (or at the very least closes by 9 PM), so it won't work for this visit based on your friends arrival time into LAX.

Rush Street in Culver City is veggie friendly.

Bodega Wine Bar in SaMo is open til midnight. veggie friendly (assuming you mean veggie not vegan)
