who has been to Elevation Burger in coral springs and what are your thoughts. I think I missed something. I swear I was stoked to try this place, but it fell short I ordered a single straight up lettuce, tomato, pickles and side of fries. I was not impressed

For what it's worth, I like Elevation a lot. It's by no means the best hamburger you're going to get around here, but for a fast food joint they do a good job.

Comparing them to, say, Five Guys:

Pros: Better tasting beef, cheese. Great bun. Simple burger that has good, steak-like flavor. When the fries are fresh, they're great (cooked in Olive Oil). The hot pepper relish is great. Milk shakes are very worthy.

Cons: Toppings are limited. With fries and a drink, price shoots up towards $10. A single patty is too small, so you almost have to order a double (almost $6). Staff is young and turns over a lot so quality can vary from visit to visit.

I have to disagree they say there not fast food, I am nor sure that the beef is that much better tasting than say Doc's old fashioned hamburgers in Delray 4.95 to 6.95 Much better and the fries are touted to be fresh cooked to order. the hot relish is very good as is the the topping choice Ketchup, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, caramelized onions, mustard mayo, raw onions, balsamic mustard the aforementioned hot pepper relish and elevation sauce oh and blue cheese sauce plenty of choices except bacon. that is not my is should cheese be melted on a hamburger five guys is taste of beef how does that come into play when they cannot melt cheese or make fries if i wanted crappy fries I can go to BK
