Looking for a good breakfast place

I am looking for a country breakfast place. Nothing pretentious, just good.

If you want a huge breakfast, try Voula's Offshore Cafe on Northlake Way (kind of under the I-5 bridge over the ship canal). It's more fisherman's breakfast than country but you will not leave hungry. It is absolutely not pretentious.

How "country" are you after? If you're up for a drive, the Maltby Cafe is a usual suspect.
