Due Mari or Daryl Wine Bar for birthday dinner?

We will be 3 couples celebrating two birthdays and they left it up to me. I was all set to finally try Daryl and then I heard about Due Mari. Other friends were there 2 weeks ago and loved their meal and dessert.
So now I'm torn and I turn to you.

I'm a little impartial to Due Mare since David Drake left Daryl's. Miss his presence

Thank you both! After hearing my friend rave about her dinner, I was kind of leaning that way. I'll call them tomorrow and make my reservation.

no question, Due Mare. You might want to start off at Daryl's for a glass of wine then wander down to Due Mare for dinner. That way you get to experience both.

A nice walk between the two but still very doable on a pleasant evening.

the ultimate in cognitive dissonance. You can't go wrong as to chosing either. Both are wonderful with a slight nod towards Due Marie, which is just a personal preference (for me) and oh so close as to winning out over Daryl's.

Let us know how your evening works out.
