Now in Scottsdale, but left my info @ home! Looking for recently opened bistro in Scottsdale by owner who also has an upscale restaurant in Scottdale. Had very favorable reviews. Thanks AE

Of course, it's not in Scottsdale, not all that new or "very authentic," but they DO have ass-kicking fries, and are the "sister" restaurant of one of the highest-end spots in the area.

Maybe Vincent Market Bistro? It's not new, but did have a good review that I remember reading earlier this year. The upscale restaurant would be Vincent on Camelback.

Maybe you're referring to Aaron's May's new Iruna in Old Town? He used to own Sol y Sombra...

The owner still has an upscale place...this bistro has a nice bar, is small and very authentic bistro with good prices...outstanding frites as well!

OK I was going to say James Porter with Petit Maison, but his Tapino also closed... this is a fun game!
