Where to watch World Cup with tasty eats?

I've only been in Seattle about 6 months and could use some direction on places to watch a couple World Cup games. For me, the eating and drinks are just as fun as watching the game. So I'm not so much looking for the place with the biggest or most TVs, rather I want recommendations for a good meal. It doesn't have to be fancy or anything, sandwiches and fries and things are fine, I'd just like them to be well made with good ingredients. For example, I've never been to Cafe Presse and was thinking of trying the place out when France plays a game.

(Oh, and I'm not cheering any team in particular so don't worry about that.)

Thanks!

  1. Cafe Presse has the best food of any place showing the early Cup matches live. I personally wouldn't go there when France is playing (Irish sympathizer) but if you're willing to get there early enough to get a seat at the bar with a view of the TV, it should be a good atmosphere.

Honorable mention for the Irish breakfast at Fado - another good place to catch a match but again you'll want to get there early if popular teams are playing (USA, England, Brazil, Germany, Italy, Argentina, etc.)

Of course for the 11:30am matches you can pretty much go anywhere with a TV and expect to see the game.

You can catch the 11:30 games at the bar inside Delicatus, which makes very good sandwiches. Empire in Columbia City shows the early games, and they make excellent belgian waffles with strawberry sauce, and also panini, but not much else.
