Party spot for 100ish people near Silverlake/Los Feliz?

Hi!

I'm throwing a 30th birthday party in a few weeks for around 100 to 130 people. I'd like to do it in the Silverlake/Los Feliz area. A lot of my friends have thrown parties at Edendale Grill - any other similar places that can accommodate a group that large?

Are there private rooms in bars anywhere around there that are fun?
Has anyone thrown a party in the upper floor at MALO?

I'm up for paying some money - maybe a thousand bucks or so? Is this realistic?

Been to BIG parties at casita del campo.
Malo has an upstairs.
El chavo has the bar el chavito and outside patio

Malo is a good idea, there's also the patio there. El Chavo has both the small bar on the side, El Chavito, and an upstairs room with a bar. Rockwell VT is a big space. Cliff's Edge is nice, but you might have to take the whole restaurant.
