pre-packaged falafel

I'm looking for pre-packaged falafel that is homemade, not the big brand/manufactured variety. I found a brand called Green Cedar Cuisine at Calmart in Calistoga which was great. All natural ingredients and just the ones that should be in there too. Unfortunately Calistoga is too far away just to buy falafels (I live in San Francisco). Has anyone come across some good pre-packaged ones in the city?

Parkside Market carries packaged falafel. I am almost certain they were carrying Green Cedar alongside Sabra's frozen. These were in a plastic wrapped clear tray of about a dozen. If those aren't the ones they might be a good alternative.

I have had good results with the bulk mixes from Whole foods and The Food Mill.

Just add water, form into balls and fry.

      Warning:Costco had some pre_made Falafal a few months ago...Horrible.

The worst item I ever purchased at Costco.

They were some there today but I didn't mention them because being at Costco means they are of the"big brand/manufactured variety" a no no.

Mix and fry are pretty good.

I'm sorry I can't remember specifically -- but I recently saw some at a Farmer's Market-- I think it was Alemany Farmer's Market. I'm pretty sure it was that market. ( I went to the Stonestown and Ferry Plaza market recently too, hence my hesitation.) Alemany is my usual though and this that was the one.

I didn't try them but they looked good Large packages with I'd say 20 or so falafel balls. They said made that day. Hopefully, someone on the board will know!
