Macarons in Palm Beach County?

susanjanec Jun 8, 2010 09:14 AM

Hi, I'm pretty new to this board - my name is Susan, and I recently heard about Macarons. I'm really curious to try them, but I'm not sure where to find them in the Palm Beach area. Anyone know? Thanks in advance!

Attn Palm Beach County Macaron lovers.

Your ship has just come in. Now open in Delray Beach:

    Le Macaron - French Pastries

I don't know much about macarons. But I just had three and they were pretty awesome:

    Crunchy Praline
    Sicilian Pistachio
    and one Basil-flavored!

    520 E Atlantic Ave
(Next to Schuola Veccia, Across Street from Colony Hotel)

I haven't found a place in PB county for good Macarons yet, but if you're ever in Fort Lauderdale, don't miss Le Macaron at 1912 Cordova Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316,(954) 990-7904. If you google "Le Macaron" you'll find the website for their Sarasota store. The location in Fort Lauderdale is new.

There is Sweet Sarah, they are by order only. Their macaroons are really good, def worth a try. She's based in Palm Beach and does local delivery.

There's a French bakery in Boca, Cote de France, that makes good ones (well, I haven't eaten them in Paris...)

In West Palm, the Sugar Monkey--http://www.thesugarmonkey.com/--makes them. She is appointment only after the greenmarket closes.

        Bon appetit!

You can call Paris In Town bakery. It's a starting point.

          11460 US Highway 1
          North Palm Beach, FL 33408

thank you! i contacted them and they do have macarons, but they order them and sell them by the dozen. it's $16 for a dozen and comes from paris, france.

you can order a box for yourself and i'm waiting for them to call me back to let me know when they'll be in.

Hi Susan! I lived in Palm Beach County for about ten years, but moved to Northern Indiana about 5 years ago.

In your post, I think you are actually referring to Macaroons, the cookie. The place that pops in my mind first is Too Jays Deli. I know that they have Macaroons there and they also have deli locations all over Palm Beach County, so it should be pretty convenient too. Hope this helps!

I actually am not referring to Macaroons, but Macarons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macaron) They are different, as they are a French confection. I have had macaroons though. :)
