I'm looking for food feuds in NYC or within a 2 hours drive of the city. An item of food (say pierogi) where there are two restaurants that make an item and lots of strong opinions about who does it best. Let me know if you have any suggestions.

I would suggest Papaya King vs Nathan's. Papaya King and Gray's use the same brand of dog. Papaya King is the original and deserves to compete against Nathan's for the best beef dog in New York. I love both but prefer Papaya King.
