Matunuck, RI and surrounding areas
Hi all,
I am looking for a good clam shack or casual seafood restaurant in/around Matunuck RI. Any and all suggestions would be great!

Jim's Dock - a BYOB at the end of Succotash Rd (by the state pier) - it's a cash only place. Great view and food is good. You also might like Aunt Carrie's in Narragansett (also BYOB) - it has great homemade cinnamon bread, pies, and great seafood. If you just want clam cakes and chowder, right next door to Aunt Carrie's is Iggy's.

Matnuck Oyster Bar is great, but do also go to Tara's Joyce Family Pub, right on the beach while you are there. Irish pub food, a la american, great people, right on the beach. Music every night. Always a party.

I'm a huge fan of the Matunuck Oyster Bar on Succotash Rd (the road leading to East Matunuck State Beach, across the street from Cap'n Jacks). Gorgeous outdoor patio on the salt pond. Their own oysters and a huge menu.
