Any recent reviews for Nick's Cove?
We are celebrating a family occassion at Nick's Cove Saturday and are hoping the Chow community has some recent reviews for dining there. We are starting at Hog Island for oysters, so we will be ready for something different at Nick's. Let us know what you think, thanks.

Stayed and ate there 2 weeks ago. Cottages were great, would stay there again. Breakfast is included and was delivered to the room. Excellent.
Dinner was very poor. Crab Louie was bland and carelessly made. Just had that dish at Go Fish in St Helena which was terrific. Green salad was a bore and the whole branzino was tasty but a testament to the lazy chef. My wife and I were splitting it. Upon it's delivery, our server graciously offered to have the chef split it and re-present it to us. We accepted,expecting that the chef would split it down the midlle and debone the fish. Oh no. He just cleaved it in two, giving me the head and shoulder, my wife the tail and belly. All bones still in place! The server apologized and took the item off our bill.
I was shocked that Kuleto let this lovely, attractive place fall so far. Glad he sold it.
