Thursday 'Girls Night' Dinner in Boston

My friends and I will be in Boston next Thursday. Two of us are from Manhattan and the other is from San Francisco and we're definitely foodies. We'd love to find a cool, lively restaurant with solid food...moderately priced. Are there any new restaurants we should check out ? We're in our mid-thirties and are staying near Boston Common but are not limited to that area. No Sushi.

Thanks!

Don't know if they have to be super new but three that come to mind close to your hotel are Market in the W Hotel (this is new) and Via Matta and Davio's. Eastern Standard in Kenmore Sq. is a standby. The bar at KO Prime in the Nine Zero is fun. For a little cheaper, Pops and Gaslight in the South End.

If you do go to Market, I'd recommend checking out the tasting menu. Another thought is to head to No. 9 Park. It is not new but definitely worth trying if you are in Boston.

La Voile for french bistro food, Erbaluce for the best and most interesting Italian and a nice bar, DeLuxe Diner and the Rattlesnake for low key and fun, Parrish Cafe for lunch and, more expensive but interesting, Bistro du Midi right on the Commons.

#9 Park is very good, but certainly not "moderately priced". I would second recs for Coppa, La Voile, eastern Standard, Erbaluce, or Via Matta.
