Tuscany Honeymoon Restaurants Updated: Any thoughts???

  • 1

Here is what we have come up with:

Siena: Dinner Reservations at Cane e Gato

Montepulciano:

Lunch Reservations at "Common Table " at Avignonesi
Dinner Reservations at Ai Quattro Venti

Montalcino:

Lunch at Ciacci Piccolomini d' aragona (as part of tasting)
Dinner at Poggio Antico

San Gimignano

Lunch at Il Trovatore
Dinner at Cum Quibus

Chianti Region

Dinner at either "La Bottega de 30" or at Badia a Coltibuono

Any thoughts? Especially in Chianti as that is particularly troubling us. Anything we should avoid at all costs, or even help as affirm our decisions. Thanks!

  1. We've had two very good lunches with Italian friends at La Bottega de 30. If you are near Greve at lunchtime, go to Enoteca Fuori Piazza; low key but delicious. In Siena, if you have a car, I'd go outside the old city to Antica Bottega Nova
