octopus garden - what do you like to eat from there

I have heard great reviews of Octopus Garden and would like to know what are some of the brilliant things to try from their menu.

  1. For me it's anything raw-not impressed with their cooked product.

They always have a good selection of Oysters if that tickles your fancy.

    1. I really enjoyed their sushi and sashimi omakase. I just checked their menu and it's not listed on there any more so I'm not sure if it's still available. I went there over a year ago. As part of the sushi omakase, I got to taste a piece of the foie gras and mango sushi. I thought that was very tasty and unique, probably the most unique sushi I've ever had. I remember the aji sashimi being top notch as well with the whole fish incorporated as part of the presentation. They used to make these sushi shooters as well that were quite tasty. I remember really enjoying the uni shooter.

2nd their omakase. (And 2nd Sam's rec of sticking to the raw items). They typically serve modern sushi, but you can ask for traditional.

I agree also that their best dishes are the raw dishes...
However, their version prawn tempura is fantastic - large whole (not minced) prawns cooked perfectly.

Second the uni shooter, best uni I've had in a very long time.
