Good place for pizza post Yankees game

We're coming from Texas for vacation this weekend! Part of our itinerary is to see the Astros play the Yankees at the new Yankee Stadium. After the game, we thought we'd grab some pizza. Some on the Manhattan board suggested hitting Patsy's in East Harlem on our way back, but wanted to see if there might be some better options in The Bronx.

The game is at 100, and we don't have plans until later that evening (jazz show at Dizzy's Club Coca Cola at 900). Any suggestions for some great pizza within an easy subway ride from Yankee Stadium?

there's not going to be much better than Patsy's (of east harlem) anywhere. and you CAN take a train there... .
Yolanda's is not a far walk from the stadium, on 149th street. great pizza there. very NY slice. And walking through the bronx a bit can be an interesting NY experience.

you're going to have about 3 hours of play time...

The Bronx might be a bit of a culture shock for you, but to help ease the transition, I think you should experience its Little Italy - aka Arthur Avenue. From Yankee Stadium it's only a ten minute drive or so and it's best that you take a cab if you're a group of four or less.

NY "traditional" pizza, try Full Moon Pizza which is in very close proximity to Trattoria 089 mentioned above. Look --> http://gothamist.com/2006/08/11/the_h...

Patsy's is a good choice especially since you're going to be in Manhattan later anyway. I guess your decision is going to be based on how energetic you're going to feel after the game, and how far you're willing to travel. All these are good choices.
