Kid-friendly in Dana Point/SJC or nearby in South OC

Desperately need a suggestion for a dinner in the Dana Point/San Juan Capistrano area
(or anywhere nearby in South OC).

There will be a 7 y.o. and a 3 y.o. in attendance, so looking for kid-friendly, and not exotic.

"Tourist-friendly" also a plus, too.

Cost is not that important....
Anywhere but Ruby's, Dave and Buster's or similar chains.

El Adobe n SJC is a good. family-friendly Mexican restaurant. Said to be one of Richard Nixon's old stomping grounds:) Also Cedar Creek is great because it has a nice outdoor patio area that seems to be good for parties with children.

We frequent both places and we have two small children in our family.
