Brother's bar burgers?
I hear the jalapeno cream cheese burger is to die for.
Can anyone tell me more? I'm going there on Friday

The jalapeno cream cheese burger is the best on their menu, but that isn't saying much in my opinion. After hearing about it for years, I was seriously underwhelmed by My Brother's Bar's burgers. Name any Denver neighborhood and I'll name a place to get a better burger.
So, no, I definitely wouldn't call the JCB "to die for." But if you're already in the neighborhood and hungry, you might as well stop and try one.

Yes- the JCB is the burger you want... although I usually "splurge" and get the Ralphie (bison meat) JCB style. These are classic Bar Burgers where the meat is cooked on a flattop and served in wax paper. Are these "the best burgers in Denver" period? Not in my opinion but from a unique dining experience with a GREAT tasting burger it's a singular Denver destination. I love MBB. It was something that connects me with the past- my Dad went there all the time with clients and associates when I was growing up in the 70's and it was a real "coming of age" experience when he took me there when I was old enough to roll with him and appreciate the atmosphere.
Dim light atmosphere, classical music, menus on the wall, cheap house wine and stiff cocktails... love this place.
