Knuckleheads Tavern in Pelham

I pass this place every time I shop at Fairway. Looks very interesting. Anyone been there? Worh going or not?

I went there about 20 years ago and it was O.K., but nothing special. I met a friend who told me that they recently got a new chef, so I gave it another go. The burgers are very good, much better than the Five Guys just north of it. Salads were good but not particularly memorable. The prices are reasonable for the area, on the level with B & B's Grill just north of downtown Pelham. If you were shopping in that area and wanted to grab a bite to eat, you would have an enjoyable meal, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

Funny how we see things....and no,I've never been there.Every time that I've waited at the traffic light on Route 1,I think,'that looks like a place for serious drinking up the Friday paycheck for people working in the small factories in the area,and not much else'.
