private room for wedding ceremony and dinner on a Wednesday in GTA- preferably not too expensive :)

Hello all
I'm looking for a private room for approx 25-35 people on a Wednesday night. I would like somewhere outside of the downtown core so that it's easy for my non-toronto guests to get to. I have in mind a restaurant that has a separate room that they stick large reservations in but where I don't have to create a special menu, have a banquet, or meet min requirements. Maybe I'm dreaming :) We're already having a large reception on the following Saturday so all we're looking for is somewhere to have our small ceremony and then stay for a meal with our family (however many choose to stay and eat with us).
Any leads, ideas, or suggestions would be great!

try baton rouge in front of scarborough town centre ..they have private rooms.. and they have the best food...they have their preset package starting at $30.

Auberge Du Pommier would be suggestion. I don't know if they'll let you get away with no fixed menu though. A friend did their ceremony and dinner on location and said they had a lovely time.

This would be my suggest as well. It really is a lovely space and I've always had a good meal there.

I third Auberge du Pommier. Right off the 401, free and ample parking, lovely spot, great food and service. Pricey.

I should have been more specific about location too I guess - I was hoping for somewhere not too far from the 401 preferably with a parking lot... A lot of our guests will be from out of town and they don't really get the whole concept of looking for and paying for parking :)

Thanks - hadn't thought of there. I was there a few years ago and the food was good. I'll look into it.

I've not been to a group function there but I know Wildfire Steakhouse has a private room that seats around 40, not sure if the price point suits you. They do offer a special menu for private functions and I can't tell if there are min requirements from their website. There is Green P parking about two or three blocks south. Lawrence subway station is bit of trek but a few blocks south of there.
