Mam Ayesha's is right over the Calvert Bridge on the Adams Morgan side. Reasonably priced, tasty Lebanese food. You might see veteran reporter Helen Thomas there. On the Woodly Park side of the Bridge, Afghan Grill is fun - go up the stairs, past the nail salon, and be prepared to sit on the steps and wait if the place is crowded.
