Need help finding a place to celebrate my wife birthday
Hello everyone. I have 5 days left to figure out what I am doing for my wife on her birthday. I did the whole big party thing last year but this year will be smaller. It will be the 2 of us and 2 couples. We like to drink but don't like the loud music. We would like to go to a cool restaurant and then head over to a cool bar. Ifr we can do both at the same spot that would be awesome. I want to thank you for your time and help.
if santa monica is an option, go to somewhere down there like Via Veneto or Gjelina on Abbot Kinney, or AK, or Ji-Raffe or Anisette, or even Wilshire in west LA etc. then head over to Salute Wine Bar on Main. www.salutewinebar.com or if you prefer more casual, head to Musha on Wilshire in SaMo.
does loud music include jazz? if not, you could go to somewhere in beverly hills like mako or il pastaio or bouchon bistro, etc., then head over to Honor Bar on S. Beverly for jazz (the place next door is also a cheaper more casual option that's connected to Honor Bar called South Beverly, and is related to Houston's as well). or for something else chill walk up to the nice outdoor bar at the Crescent Hotel.
also jazz oriented is Vibrato Jazz and Grill in Bel Air.

The Dining Room at the Langham Hotel. Enjoy dinner and then celebrate the evening by spending a night at the hotel.
You want to score points? I would make reservations (try to insist they keep you on the first floor) at the Saddlepeak Lodge. You almost forget that you are in Southern California. It's romantic, great food and a great bar. To quote from an old song. "Who could ask for anything more?"
