Can't say enough about this place! Just a little takeout only chinese bbq store with the most amazing meat you can find. They have roasted ducks, steamed chicken with scallion ginger sauce, soy sauce chicken, honey roasted pork, and crispy roasted pork. They also had some exotic items I'm too afraid to try. Bringing home a few boxes of their meats makes me so happy I just had to share. it's also in the same shopping center as Silver Pond so if you're feeling in the mood for some Asian head down for lunch and grab bbq takeout for dinner.

Thanks for the tip, I've seen the place, but never stopped there...

Interestingly, there's a new Chinese buffet opening soon across the street. I assume it will be the typical Americanized stuff, not really competing with Silver Pond or HK City.

It's going to be in the former Denny's location on the corner of NW 41st and 441, which has been the site of two other failed restaurants since Denny's closed. Neither of those lasted more than a few months, it will be interesting to see if the buffet can survive.

This place has the best Chinese bbq. Just an FYI, they only take cash.

That's right. I learned the hard way they only take cash!

I honestly can't imagine a buffet place surviving in the middle of all those authentic Asian restuarants!

I think the buffet crowd is an entirely different demographic, authenticity is not really a primary concern (at the risk of sounding snobbish...)

I think there may be room for the buffet to survive, time will tell.

Not trying to derail the topic, but the new buffet is called Panda Buffet, looks like it could be a chain restaurant...

Is that the name of the place?! We were in the area once and stepped in. Thought it was wild to see a take out chinese bbq with cleaver in hand. Anyhow, took some home and it was fantastic.

Yes definitely the name! I had to take a business card with me to remember it.

Do you have a phone number? I am sometimes up in that area and would like to call to make sure they are open before I drive by. Also, the exact address? Please. :)
