Good place to sip champagne outside?

Looking for a good place to sip cold champagne outside in DC. Any suggestions?

service can be 'odd' not bad, just odd, but the courtyard at Poste can be a total glam sort of thing if the weather is right, definitely a sportscoat and sockless loafers (guys) and vintage Balenciaga (gals) sort of feel. I'm really not that sort of person, but every now and then it is fun to play dress up and pretend you're an extra in a Fellini movie.

Sportcoat? At Poste? I suppose I tend to stop by a nice Sunday afternoon, but at that time you'd be dressed at least as well as everyone else there in a sundress and/or polo shirt.

IMO, the service is odd in a way that is, in fact, kind of bad, also. But the ambiance is nice.

Raids: I was thinking dressing for the space, drink and companions, not my neighbors. Odd as in sometimes the staff seems very shy and tentative (read sort of un-trained) I wouldn't say bad per se, just awkward and so inattentive I was really tempted to drink and dash once for the first time in 20+ years after waiting forever for the check. but damn I love that courtyard (in shade mind you)
