Yes still open. On The Deck is better. Same owner, better atmosphere.

Yes, Michelle. In Atlantic Highlands Marina.

Actually no. It is not in Atlantic Highlands. It is in Highlands; specifically, on the right side of Rt. 36 south, just before you hit the bridge over the river before Sandy Hook. It has a good bar and a decent food with an outdoor deck overlooking the Highlands bridge.

I was referring to "On the Deck" not "Off the Hook." Thanks, though.

MIchelleM131....On the Deck is the one at the Atlantic Highlands Marina. I gave it about three tries as it is so close to where I live and I love the views but the service was just not there. The food was mediocre at best (the coldest grilled vegetable sandwich ever). I really wanted this place to work but I just cannot justify spending money on poor service and so-so food because the view is so nice.

Cold grilled vegetables displease me. I won't rush to try it out.

Ive eaten at On the Deck multiple times and have enjoyed it pretty much every time. The grouper and tilapia dishes are always good and the horseradish encrusted burger is excellent.
