Macaron Cupcakes in LA?

rusticrhythm Jun 4, 2010 02:39 AM

Hi everyone, need some help looking for Macaron cupcakes in LA. I've read about it very recently but forgot the name of the shop. Any ideas? It's a regular cupcake with a French macaron on top.

Thanks in advance!

That sounds like something from the very delicious, La Provence Patisserie & Cafe in BH and Brentwood http://www.laprovencecafe.com....if not,
check with the smaller cupcake bakers, and they may create a custom order for you.
DTLA Nickel Diner http://nickeldiner.com pastry chef Sharlena Fong makes incredible cupcakes and takes special orders. Fab macarons from DTLA Bottega Louie or ultra delish macarons from Paulette's in BH .... attran99 great suggestion, assemble yourself using your favorite macaron and fave cupcake

You could always make or buy cupcakes and then purchase the macarons to put on top. Europane in Pasadena makes some excellent macarons...I particilarly love the salted caramel and the blackberry.

Europane's are more like a macaron cookie...way bigger then the normal sized and not so tasty compared to bottega louie's and others....
