I am not real familiar with your great city, but my wife is gonna be there for a couple days and I want her to experience real Chicago pie. Is there a great pizzeria within walking distance of that hotel?

Yes. If she's never had our authentic, delicious deep-dish pizza, I recommend getting the deep-dish "pizza in the pan" version from Pizano's, whose Loop location on Madison is only a block or two from the Palmer House Hilton. You can phone ahead with your pizza order to avoid waiting 30-45 minutes for your pizza to bake. The menu recommendations for number of servings per pizza are accurate.
