shelf liner for glassware - moved from Not About Food board
I'm thinking of putting some glasses (barware) on what is basically an open cabinet in my dining room. I need something that would be both functional (keeps glasses from direct contact with wood shelf and provides cushion to prevent chipping) and reasonably invisible (want to avoid dining room looking like an extension of the kitchen).
Anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
In our Butler's Pantry, we used cork shelf lining that we got from Williams Sonama, but it is also available on line from other sellers. It is quite attractive and works very well in protecting the shelf from any residual moisture and cushioning the glasses. These are glas fronted cabinets, and they look really nice.
