Boudin in Boulder/Denver?

Headed to a crawfish boil this weekend and was requested to bring some boudin. I know I can get it online, but is there anywhere in Boulder or Denver that makes it fresh (ideally), or at least carries it frozen in stock (avoids shipping fees)? Thanks.

If I was in Denver and wanted boudin, I'd call Doug Kershaw's Bayou House in Lucerne and see if they had it. You KNOW it would be good cher. :-)

Well, it didn't turn out to really be boudin. We got the smoked version because that's all they had unfrozen, and it was really just a bratwurst with some rice in it. I realized that they didn't make them with pork liver, which I think is what adds the distinctive, slightly gamey taste to boudin. Without it, just a sausage or bratwurst. Not bad, mind you, just not really boudin. Guess we'll have to order online next time.

Lurker Dan, you should change your name to "Boo-Dan".

Answered my own question... in case anyone cares, Edwards Meats in Wheat Ridge carries it in stock. Yay interwebs!

I wonder if they have it at Lucille's in Boulder. Let us know how it is. Sure wish I was sitting
in a pick up truck in front of a grocery store in Houma eating some.
